Good to know

Three bedrooms, three full baths — every bedroom has its own private bath. No sharing, no shower schedule, nobody waiting their turn to get ready. Upstairs is the kids' zone: a 10-in-1 game table, board games, and room for older kids to set up a gaming system away from the adults. The kitchen is stocked well past the basics — cookware, bakeware, appliances and utensils — plus a full-size washer and dryer that earns its keep after a day of rafting or hiking. Outside, a private hot tub on the large back deck and a quiet backyard. We put in brand-new HVAC in 2026, so the AC is quiet and genuinely cold. Flat driveway, no steps, no mountain roads. About 7 miles to Dollywood, 2 to the Parkway, 13 to Gatlinburg.

Other Details to Note

A few practical things before you arrive. Bringing little ones? There's a crib, a high chair, safety gates, outlet covers, a playroom, and children's books, toys and dishes — plus a first aid kit. Guests are often surprised to find them, so pack lighter than you think. There's a charcoal grill and grilling tools on the deck if you'd rather cook outside. About bears: this is black bear country and they do come through the neighborhood. Keep food and trash inside, and nothing edible on the deck overnight. They make a good story as long as they stay outside. Quiet hours after 10pm, and no pets, smoking or parties. If anything isn't right, message us during your stay — we'd much rather fix it while you're here than read about it afterward.

Quiet neighborhood where guests can enjoy walks and children can play safely. The neighborhood also has a small creek, which provides a nice setting for families to hangout or explore.

Guest Access

You have the whole house — all three bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen, the upstairs game room, the laundry, the deck and the backyard. Nothing is locked off and nobody else is on the property. Check-in is self-service with a door code, so you can arrive whenever suits you. The neighborhood is yours to use as well: open green space for a football or catching lightning bugs, and a creek with a walking path and picnic tables. The Pigeon Forge trolley stops right at the neighborhood entrance if you'd rather leave the car.

It was close to town and only .5 miles from a dollar general market, pizza and convenience shops, but far enough away you didn’t feel like you were in town. Perfect if you are planning on going to town everyday! I have no complaints.

Find us

Everything is a short drive, or you can take the Pigeon Forge Trolley — it stops right at the neighborhood entrance. We're about 2 miles from the Parkway, 7 from Dollywood, and 13 from Gatlinburg, with Townsend and Great Smoky Mountains National Park a little further. There's so much to do here that a week is never enough. We love our cozy Creekside Cottage and we're sure you will too.
